Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the P7280 projector from Acer projects with a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, alongside 4500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2300:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 4500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Hide Acer brand?
Hello, I have a question, please. When I switch from the projector back to the laptop, I always get the black screen, but unfortunately the Acer logo is always at the top left. Is there a way to turn it off? Thanks a lot and best regards

External control
I‘m just about to put the projector into operation and have to realize that it‘s based on a 3-pin RS232 MIni DIN plug, which nobody knows and you can‘t get anywhere. And of course it is not included in the scope of delivery and when asked what it looks like, but that you don‘t have it - basta.
Yes and if you had managed to find it, then you can‘t control it because you don‘t have a code list and of course it‘s not in the manual.
All these are features that simply stand in the way of business use.
Maybe someone can help here by email (info@screen-media.de) if this text is viewed. When I have the projector in use, I will also give an assessment here. For the time being, my impression of Acer is not particularly good
