The hardware properties of the S1283e manufactured by Acer include 3100 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 13000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 123 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 485 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 323 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
