The hardware properties of the XEED WUX5800Z manufactured by Canon include 5800 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast value of 4000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 3000 hours, covering an estimated 2.1 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 774 cm can be illuminated with 5800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 516 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Canon's current product range.
