Designed for the Short Distance sector, the XEED WUX450ST model from Canon features 4500 ANSI lumens, a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 112 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 682 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 455 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Canon.
