Behind the name SP8600 HD3D is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by InFocus, whose main features include 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2500 hours for this projector's lamp. Regarding projection size, the value of 1800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 287 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of InFocus's current product range.
