Equipped with LCD technology, the InFocus IN5542 offers 7500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 754 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 503 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by InFocus.
