According to InFocus, the LP530 model provides 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 400:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by InFocus. The previous speaker must have had a different projector as the InFocus LP530 is a DLP projector and this only has one color unit.
The device is very reliable and produces a very bright picture which appears clearer and brighter than current projectors with 2500 AL. This is due to the higher lamp output (270 watts) and the significantly higher new price.

My first and worst beamer
Bought the Infocus 2003 after only 1000 hours lamp damage, after another 300 hours it got one of the color panels (Rep 450 Euro) and then after another 400 hours a loud ugly noise and then total loss
Beautiful picture but technically too vulnerable unfortunately.

In my opinion a pretty good beamer, but it has its share of problems. Some SMD resistors in the power board tend to break down early in life, making it seem like the lamp is burned out. Replacing those HV resistors in the power board is the solution here.
