The Sharp XR 50S is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 2600 ANSI lumens, a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 444 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 296 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Sharp.
