Behind the name XG 3900E is a LCD projector by Sharp, whose main features include 600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100:1 and a VGA 3 x resolution. According to Sharp, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 213 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 142 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Sharp's current lineup. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
Stationary | Permanent installation in the training room and meeting room as well as the conference room. Small screen width, rooms with very little ambient light below 50 lumens.

Yellow stains etc.
Maintenance should already be done! The devices have a dust filter, but it can‘t keep everything out. The picture is usually yellowish at the bottom because the dust has settled between the TFTs and the cover glass. If you are not too stupid and get the cover open - which is not easy - you can also clean the TFTs. In any case, this is a technique where you can still see how it works. However, a copy of the repair instructions is only available in English at www.schaltungsdienst.de - not cheap! But there are enough illustrations in there to get the device back together. If in doubt, it‘s better to take it to a professional. Apart from that, the devices have hardly any weaknesses, except for the low light output and low contrast by today‘s standards - 10 years is a long time for this technology. As a home cinema device, however, it is perfectly usable and also suitable for open air cinemas with a 12m diagonal. However, it should be dark and not a full moon. In any case, very robust devices at an insane price at the time. New Golf or new projector? The lamps do break from time to time, but you can sometimes get them cheaply as leftover stock from lamp dealers - or on eBay.

thank you for the dutch user manual for xg3900e
hello can you give me some advice? MY SHARP XG3900e has yellow spots in the picture,it has never been unscrewed, and i wanted to know if this could be a matter of cleaning the lens from the inside,or a more serious problem, and if so,whether it is still worth having it overhauled by a specialist store?OR CAN I GET A BETTER DEVICE NEW FOR 450 euros? I WOULD BE VERY HAPPY FOR A TIP FROM YOU, do I have to buy something new, or can this phenomenon of yellow spots that interfere with bright pictures also be a harmless maintenance problem? I am otherwise satisfied, please answer me if you can explain this problem? looking forward to your advice many greetings to you unknown reinhard email reinhardrassmes@alice-dsl.de
