Based on LCOS technology, the Philips PicoPix 1230 projects images in a Game-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 30 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Philips.
