As a projector, the Philips Screeneo HDP1550TV combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 100000:1. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 64 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 227 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 151 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Philips's current product range.
