The DLA RS420 model is a 3D-DILA projector from JVC, intended for High-End Homecinema applications, offering 1800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 40000:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 287 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 20 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
