Categorized in the Stationary segment, the LC VC1 projector from Eiki projects with a WXGA 1366 x 768 resolution, alongside 1200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 500:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 1200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 352 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 235 cm. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Eiki.
Stationary | Permanent installation in the training room and meeting room as well as the conference room. Small screen width, rooms with very little ambient light below 50 lumens.
It only really comes into its own with 720p playback, very loud (which is why I installed it under the ceiling in a hush box with cooling and temperature monitoring). Really good picture projector via HTPC!!! Built for eternity!
