The technical data of the Eiki EK-65LU includes 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 as well as a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 47 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 6500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 819 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 546 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
