The TITAN 1080p 500 is a DLP projector by Digital Projection, whose specifications list 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 502 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
