Equipped with DLP technology, the Digital Projection Lightning 40sx+ offers 21000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. According to Digital Projection, the included lamp lasts up to 750 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 21000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1262 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 841 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection.
