According to Vivitek, the DX6851 model provides 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 3000:1 alongside a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek.
