The projector PLC XR201 by Sanyo utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 272 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range.

Prima projector with perfect picture and good brightness. The only drawback is the still clearly audible whirring of the fans. A 2 year older NEC is inaudible, the Sanyo is even annoying after a while. Sure, no comparison to the hurricane beamers at the turn of the millennium, but clearly too loud for 2009.
