The projector CP AW312WNM by Hitachi utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2500 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 60 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 556 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
