The S1290 model from ASK Proxima combines LCD technology in the Short Distance sector with 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to ASK Proxima, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 120 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 3200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 493 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 329 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
