Based on DLP technology, the Wolf Cinema PRO-617 device delivers 2200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528 and a contrast of 800000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Wolf Cinema's current product range.
