A projector from SIM2 is the Grand Cinema C3X LUMIS, whose DLP model delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 35000:1. According to SIM2, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
