As a projector, the projectiondesign F1 XGA wide combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. According to projectiondesign, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by projectiondesign.
