The projector F22 sx+ medical by projectiondesign utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 2100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 at a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. According to projectiondesign, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 399 cm can be illuminated with 2100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 266 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 24 decibels. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of projectiondesign's current product range.
