Based on DLP technology, the Plus U5 111 device delivers 1600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 348 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 232 cm. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Plus.
