Behind the name WU7 is a DLP projector by AVANZA, whose main features include 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 819 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 546 cm. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2016 and is no longer part of AVANZA's current product range.
