Based on LCD technology, the Anders + Kern EMP 5600 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 2200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 272 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2000 and is officially no longer distributed by Anders + Kern.
