Behind the name Gimbal N5 is a LCD projector by XGODY, whose main features include 300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 176 cm can be illuminated with 300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 117 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 25 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
