The DXL 5030 is a LCD projector by UTAX, whose specifications list 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by UTAX.
