The Proxima DP2800 is a LCD projector offering 110 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100:1 and a resolution of VGA 640 x 480. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 30 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 110 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 91 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 61 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.

I own one of these projectors and am generally satisfied. Of course, it has characteristics commensurate with its age, but it still produces good images in sufficient darkness, and the VGA resolution is also sufficient for films or presentations.
As a little treat, it also has an integrated quick lamp changer, i.e. 2 lamps are installed and if one gives up, you can switch to the other.
