Equipped with DLP technology, the O.B.E Oray Max offers a display in UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and is equipped with 2250 ANSI lumens and designed for versatile applications. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 20000 hours of runtime. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Regarding projection size, the value of 2250 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 482 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 321 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
