The ILA 230HD is a ILA projector by Hughes-JVC, whose specifications list 2550 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a 2330 x 1750 Pixel resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 440 cm can be illuminated with 2550 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 293 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
