The CX 859 model from ChiStar combines proven projection technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 2900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 469 cm can be illuminated with 2900 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 313 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by ChiStar.
