The CVAK-E146-2GEN is a LED-LCD projector by Chinavasion, whose specifications list 280 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. An LED lifespan of 50000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model – calculating to 34.2 years at four hours of use per day. To make performance data comparable based on the lumen specifications, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. A look at the light output reveals: The 280 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 146 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 97 cm. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Chinavasion.
