Designed for the Event sector, the SU15KAS model from Appotronics features 15000 ANSI lumens, a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast ratio of 100000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1244 cm can be illuminated with 15000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 829 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
