Behind the name CompactView X15 E is a DLP projector by 3D perception, whose main features include 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from 3D perception's current lineup.
