The VPL FX52 model from Sony combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2500 hours for this projector's lamp. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Sony's current product range.
