The VPL DX100 is a Laser-LCD projector by Sony, whose specifications list 2300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Sony, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 418 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 279 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Sony.
