Based on LCD technology, the ivolum HBP-1000 device delivers 840 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WVGA 800 x 480 and a contrast of 1000:1 as a projector. ivolum lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. To make performance data comparable based on the lumen specifications, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. Looking at practical performance, up to 294 cm can be illuminated with 840 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 196 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
