The short-throw EB-685WS LCD has 3500 Ansi lumens, a contrast of 14000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The lamp in the projector is specified with a lamp life of 10000 hours, which is over 13.7 years if enjoyed for two hours every day. The projector also offers an integrated media player that can be used to play files directly. As the projector has horizontal and vertical keystone correction, the projector can be set up with plenty of free space in the room. Thanks to the short-throw projection ratio of just 0.28:1, the projector is also not disruptive in the room. For a 2m wide image, the projector only needs to be 56 cm away from the screen. The model offers a microphone jack plug and 16W speakers, so no additional audio devices are required for presentations or training courses. The HDMI MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables 1080p / 60 Hz image mirroring (screen mirroring) to be transmitted from the smartphone while it is being charged at the same time via the connection. The model was built by Epson in 2017 and is no longer current.
