The technical data of the Chinavasion CVXN-E292 includes 168 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 as well as a XGA 1024 x 768 display. Chinavasion lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in lumen specifications, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. A look at the light output reveals: The 168 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 113 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 75 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Chinavasion.
