The DS 650 is a DLP projector by Benq, whose specifications list 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 348 cm can be illuminated with 1600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 232 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
